Vinomofo Wine Deals

Risk free (especially given free delivery), <$14/bottle Coonawarra CS.

Even if it is the “Silent Partner” re-packaged as a VM exclusive, the Vivino score of the last vintage for that is a healthy 4.1.

In summary - zero risk for a potentially very good CS, at a cheap price.

Ps: Also in for a case (probably no surprise given my summary above).

Fair enough,
My assessment however is, if Vinomofo is selling it at this price how much is the Winery receiving and how good quality wine can you get for that dollar.

I guess the positive is over time we get a feel of what is worthy throughout the feedback of the members here.

Vinomofo has a great return policy, but you could buy every wine based on that.

Still waiting for The Lear, heading to the share a case thread :-)

Special Release = made for VM special at 20% higher RRP than the Silent Partner that it is based on?
Marketing.

Was talking to somebody in the SA wine industry yesterday and this is what they had to say when I was doing my DD on this wine. "Sam Brand is a nice young fellow and an astute marketer come winemaker. His wines are all good quality but his focus had been export to China and he has obviously been forced to drop his pants given the complete loss of that market to Australian wine."

It may have been made with a Chinese consumer in mind me thinks hence not a great deal of info here when I searched for it .

I resisted the urge to buy it but it looks like a quite acceptable (without being extra ordinary) Coonawarra CS to me.

I was only able to boom one case of Paternus Shiraz 2018 recently and love it but seems to be all sold out? Does the warehouse usually hold some back?
It is back ... just at a slightly (cough cough) higher price

So I guess it depends how much you love this wine?

Dang! Ok might call my broker on Monday to see if I can get the original deal. Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the updated link. I'm in for a case!
Look forward to reviews as it's a ripper price and a good, honest winery. I am hoping it's up there as one of the best for those purchasers here.
The Fo had the same wine but different vintage obviously in 2016 and as you would expect, similar reviews by the pros. The part I liked was 'the wine is saving a bit for the future' but the tasting notes suggest a wonderful wine. Hec, but don't they all !

I strongly suspect that it is Reschke Special Reserve 2010 however RRP is no match
Yeah I did look at that, the blurb on the 2008 matches about being produced for family and friends. But the price of $36…. Even that would be a bit of a stretch for those mof_’s to claim $70.
