Vinomofo Wine Deals

Hi all,
Quick report on the Sophia. Had the second bottle on Saturday, 2.5hrs decant. This time much more fruit on the nose and palate than the first bottle, still very smooth and refine. Pretty big bottle variation IMO.
Anybody had similar experience?
Cheers
I've no experience with this particular wine, but if it's cork-sealed, eleven years old, then you should expect one or more bottles in a 6-pack to be significantly less enjoyable then the best of them.

I have a $30 voucher and looking for some pinot.

This one: Pinot Noir 2018 – Black Market Deal #40785

appears to be this Terra Verde: International Wine Challenge - The most influential wine competition in the World

Can anyone recommend?
I have not tried it, but it looks like it's an Aldi wine in the UK:
Which make the $45 RRP a joke!

I've been waiting weeks for a wine to arrive, VM shipped it on the 1st from Melbourne and nothing yet.

AusPost is so bad.
Same. Ordered on the 30th.
Aust Post app status still says "Ready for Processing - Shipping info received by Aust Post" from 1 Feb. Time to follow up with VM or just wait?

I did, and they said to give it a few more days.

I'll complain again Monday.

It takes longer for a package from Melbourne, than America half the time. It's pretty ridiculous

Similar story here. An order from 06/02 was delivered 09/02, but another one from 28/01 has been listed as "Shipping information approved by Australia Post" since 31/01. Contacted VM about it yesterday and they said it was with AusPost, and to let them know if it's not here by Monday.

Definitely AusPost, same issue newer orders delivered later ones still sitting at lodgement, better to lodge complaint/investigation and amazingly showed up 4 days later.

Hi all, hope you’re enjoying your weekend? On the hunt for a Chardonnay, any recommendations for what’s available on the Fo at the Mo?

I order a case of Pinot Noir on 31 December - arrived in Sydney 21 Jan. AustPost tracking shows travel from Melbourne to Sydney then to Perth for just over 2 weeks (during their heat wave) and back to Sydney.
Needless to say the wine was well cooked and a write off. VM were very responsive in returning and providing a voucher for the next order as well.

That is crazy, WTF are Aus Post doing!?

Exactly, and I've been waiting 2 weeks from Melbourne.

It's ridiculous, I generally don't open a bottle straight away so how do I know?

I don't even get tracking updates at the moment.
