1. Black Market 2016 Shiraz - Clare Valley, SA
BMD CV Shiraz 16
4.1 - Vivino Score
95 points - Ned Goodwin, James Halliday Wine Companion 2020
92 points - Huon Hooke, The Real Review

This winery has roared to massive heights since establishment in 1997, and is now a household name to 'mof_ fans in Australia and around the world. This is crafted from their oldest vines in the Leasingham hamlet of the Clare. Always producing wines with intensity and full length on palate, this is an offer of exceptional quality. This absolutely iconic wine has really come into a perfect drinking window, but will go the distance for the next 10-15 years. The fruit has balanced out wonderfully, while still dense and impressive. It's a powerful wine with fantastic balance and supports a wonderfully long finish. Rich, fine oak layered on liquorice and blue to black fruits is supported by a touch of charred meats and a lithe but rounded line of acidity.

Oak: 18 months in new and seasoned French oak casks
Alcohol: 14.5%
Cellaring: Drink now until 2036

Down from $96 /btl to $48 /btl in 6 packs

VM has began processing orders, this is definitely the quickest it's been in a while.

The Salvation cases won't ship til next week, but I got notifications for the other 3-4 cases.

Fast delivery this week for one of my orders - ordered Monday, arrived today (Aust post).

No notification yet for the other order made same day

Zin ordered Monday, arrived Thursday.
It's OK but shallower and more acidic than a good Primitivo. Will keep but not likely to rebuy
You in Melbourne?

Mine says will arrive Next Tues or Weds which is 7-8 days which would still be the fastest delivery for VM to me in SA

Prob Penley Estate EOS
I bought some using built up credit plus shopback to bring it below $30. Have been wanting to have a dip for a bit as I've really enjoyed other Penley wines. SB didn't track straight away - waiting for a bit before doing the usual rant.. Hoping it's a good call!

First post, so apologies for the poor image, how do you get such a useful summary that everyone else posts ?

Anyone have any insight as to what this would be ?

Thanks
