Vinomofo Wine Deals

Haven't posted in a long long time, mainly because I haven't purchased from the Fo for a long long time.

I won't be buying for a long long time after being delivered the Mornington Pinot they had going. Black Market Pinot Noir 2015 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia

It's rubbish. Thin, acidic and flat. The Halliday 94 score confirms my belief he's officially gone crazy.
Interesting observations.

I presume this is the 2015 Trofeo? I had a bottle last night with my wife. We both liked it. I don't have TN's and I didn't study the wine at all but it wasn't acidic to my taste. Certainly not a big Pinot but it's not supposed to be - not thin IMO. At first it was a little underwhelming but opened up pretty quickly. 2015 is generally a good vintage on the Peninsula so I took the punt and at $20 a bottle I am happy. There isn't much decent Pinot at that price.

Have you only had the 1 bottle?

It's certainly pretty cheap buying at $11.00 a bottle, I just wonder if it has quite the oomph of its slightly more expensive stablemate...

Agreed. I usually pick my xanadu for $30-33 when on sale in a mix pack so not a huge discount. Excellent wine but the Reserve CS is much better for double the price. Worth paying a little more.

Morning all,
Is this Blue Pyrenees Estate red?
Points seem to match.

Black Market Cabernet Blend 2013 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia

Bought this Black Market Cabernet Blend 2013 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia . It turned out to be Blue Pyrenees Estate red, which got 95 points from both Halliday and Huon Hooke. It is unbalanced and I decided to send it back

Also bought Black Market Shiraz 2016 - Red Wine | Vinomofo Australia, mitolo 2016 cantiniere shiraz, which is not bad.
