Vinomofo Wine Deals

can't be, the mof_ website said it's of from margaret river and 100% cabernet sauvignon.

anyone know what it is?
Says Wrattonbully for me...
And definitely Shiraz-Cabernet.
I think you might be looking at a different deal, 35128, close, but not the same Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 – Black Market Deal #35128

That is Flying Fish Cove The Wildberry Reserve Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, export back label, some of my Forum members are sending it back, not happy with it.

#32693 is likely 2014 USA STOCK Block 20 Shiraz – DOZEN | Pepper Tree Wines based on Sam Kim 94 pt TN.

Thus guessing #35128 is 2016 Black Label Limited Release Shiraz Cabernet | Pepper Tree Wines

Hi W&D I boomed on a case as well. Have you managed to jot down a few tasting notes as yet?
My apologies concussed, for some bizarre reason AFF doesn't update alerts for the threads unless you revisit them frequently enough (could be just me but I know of one other reliable source that has the same issue). Anyway the Granite Hills is winging its way back to VM as we speak, my tasting notes are pretty sketchy as I opened a bottle and drank it over a couple of nights and didn't commit anything to paper. My palate is skewed more towards a larger style of red I'm afraid, some might say why bother buying a cool climate shiraz from Victoria rather than a ball tearer from the Barossa but I like to venture out of my comfort zone occasionally. The Granite Hills was elegant, quite polished and gently perfumed, it has an almost feminine quality, the structure and mouthfeel however, are just too lightweight for me, not at all faulty just not my style...

hey folks, trying my luck on crowdsourcing the wines behind these two VM deals.
Cheers in advance.

Finishing my last bottle of The Ledge 2014....anyone remember that one?

Funny you mention, it’s probably good timing to finish yours. I recently had the first one of a dozen. I don’t think it will get any better with more time, probably the opposite and I don’t drink much Shiraz anymore.

34185 is likely Willoughby Park IronRock
32914 is likely Rosenthal The Marker

I've got a case in the cart as we speak, I'm guessing you've had a crack at this before RB and if so any descriptors or comments? cheers...
I've bought and enjoyed some past vintages at around $25 direct from the winery (bulk buy after group tasting), haven't actually cracked one of the 2015 yet. Also have bought The Grove level, but not since 2010 vintage.
Made by Phil Christiansen (Longwood Wines and contract maker for a few small producers), lovely chap, talented winemaker.

I'd say the wine will likely match the Wine Companion and TWF reviews, much more eloquent than me.
I would think it would be much more your style than the Granite Hills. ;)
