Vinomofo Wine Deals

Says cellaring 5-7 years... So this would be end of life?
Safe guideline?, Zinfande can cellar a very long time.

You can always call the winery tomorrow, and ask them about the 2012! I've done this plenty of times :)

I would contact VM, email title says 2014 but the link says 2012.

I did notice the 2012/2014 inconsistency. Typical vinomofo failure.

Zinfandel 2012 - Black Market Deal #30722 (Zinfandel 2012 - Black Market Deal #30722)

I believe is this one:

Anyone tried it?
Yes, I have had quite a few of these. They are ready to drink now though, if that is what it is.

I actually preferred this to their Cab Sav.

I bought 6 of the Zins and 6 of the Cab Savs. The Zin is dark cherry with a touch of age to it. I found it very smooth and easy to drink. Depending how it has been stored, it should be drunk sooner rather than later, but should be very pleasant to drink. I paid $50/bottle for them about 12 months ago, so at $30/bottle provides good value.

As in the Zinfandel no good?...
@olympicwiz I was querying Mynameislucluc's statement which seemed ambiguous as I didn't know whether it was the Cab Sav or Zin that he was referring to. The best Aussie Zin I've ever had was this:
https://www.churchview.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/2020_St-Johns-Zinfandel.pdf I think I got several shipments of the 2014 from VM back when I first started buying from them powerful stuff, current vintage comes in at 16.3% o_O

I've drank alot of the Cab Sav, different vintages as I have access to it at a discounted rate.

I haven't had it for a while, but I really enjoy it and I specifically asked my brother to get me a 6PK.

I have not had their Zin, my brother responded to me with "Zinfandel no good. It’s the Cabernet".

Now, I haven't clarified if he simply doesn't like Zin or he meant T&C Zin is no good.

Everyone enjoys different wine, but VM has a great return policy. I would suggest if you buy, open a bottle straight away to see if you enjoy it and to distinguish how much time potentially left.

Ahhh, that's what I thought re the recommendation, I've only tried one Californian Zin previously and thought it was OK but nothing to get too excited about...

Just used SUMMERLOVIN60 for $60 off. Might be an old code as expires tonight (apologies if already mentioned).
Thanks. Got me over the line for the Zinfandel. Happy to pay $20 a bottle for these, even if there is a short drinking window.

They have never sent me a code and I've spent thousands!

Who says you can't use SUMMERSPLURGE25 as-well?
Can't apply a second code to a single order
Presumably I could use this on a second order. Not sure if they're one order per customer or not
Edit: verified the summerlovn code is single use per account

Not sure if there's an issue with the summerlovin code, but I've not received confirmation of my order from Vinomofo. Although, curiously, shopback has tracked on the purchase.
