Should be Mitolo Cantiniere Shiraz. One of my favs.

Just a word about the Reschke. The other day we had the 2012 RSR, a $200 Barolo and a 2004 Bin 407. For me the Penfolds was the winner, but the Reschke did hold up nicely. For a friend of mine who has a much more delicate palate than me, the Reschke came out first.

I wouldn't pay much attention to Vivino (I rarely do). However this particular wine on top of its recent 96 points from Halliday, has also received a massive 96 points from The Vintage Journal - Andrew Caillard MW and Angus Hughson gave this review - "Deep crimson. Fragrant and expressive with blackcurrant, mocha, roasted chestnut aromas with spicy notes. Supple and inky deep with lovely blackcurrant, mocha, espresso flavours, fine loose-knit grainy / touch al dente tannins, beautifully integrated new oak. Finishes firm with seductive dark fruits and some cedar complexity. Impressively balanced wine with very good density, definition and torque."

Btw 96 points from Halliday Wine Companion were written by Erin Larkin, who is not one prone to over scoring. "2020 was a warm, short vintage that produced red wines of lush fruit and firm tannins. Here, the fruit is almost spilling from the glass, such is the opulence and concentration of characters: red currants, pomegranates, blackberries and raspberries. The oak has a sweet biscuity flavour – Malt-O-Milk, or oatmeal or something similar – and the tannins are supremely awesome: chewy, dense, pliable, like cocoa and almost whippy. Epic wine. Really smart."

I opened mine tonight - I have the 2020, and it tastes just like the second review above. Not often that I don't share the same opinion as the apiarist....
