Vinomofo Wine Deals

Well if there’s no Doris plums I’m definitely not getting it!
Tried it last night. Really enjoyed Chatto Creek PN so much so before I knew it, almost the whole bottle was gone to the sheer horror of the SWMBO.

For a 9 yo still a lot of red fruit - cherries and forest berries dominate, yet earthy. Nice balanced bright acidity and a good finish. Yummy

Other birthday items also back. Got 1 of these magnums for $13:

Ah so thats where my confiscated St Henri ended up after buying 2. I just got the email this afternoon about an enforced $50 refund
You got lucky they didn't cancel both. They may have stuffed up shipping but 1 per customer was made clear.

Ive received delivery and opened a bottle of the VM 2021 St Hallett Sacred Ground offering this evening. Color in the bowl is good and sniffs well but thats where it all finishes for me. Thin, boring, lack of depth and drinking window would seem right now. Cant fathom how it's priced @ $30, let alone the Fo's RRP of $95. Suffice to say it'll be sent back.

Sounds like the Higher Earth at Cellarone was the better bet after all! Glad I went back to get another 6 of this one than take a risk on the Sacred Ground - thanks for review notes

Wines like these don’t come along every day and trust me when I say, you do not want to miss out.

The name Vocoret is synonymous with Chablis, with Jean Vocoret planting his first vines in 1707! The winery is complete with ancient underground caves and vineyards spanning across Chablis

(the most notable being 1er Cru Fourchaume).

As evidenced upon tasting their 1978 Fourchaume (my birth year) which was still so full of vibrancy and vigour, these wines will live

for decades.

If you’re new to Chablis, Vocoret himself recommends an introduction through Petit Chablis, before progressing up the range to Chablis

and 1er Crus in order to get the sense of evolution.

And luckily for you, they are all exclusively available now.

Domaine Yvon & Laurent Vocoret Petit Chablis 2022

- 50 cases
Domaine Yvon & Laurent Vocoret Chablis AOC 2022

- 50 cases
Domaine Yvon & Laurent Vocoret Chablis

1er Cru Fourchaume 2022

- 25 cases

Stock is extremely limited."

Popped a 19 Blackwell to do a side by side just to confirm its not me, its the wine. For the same dollars you're getting a lot more wine with the Blackwell.. Not sure what the backstory with this Sacred Ground is but I disagree with wine buyer Tully's enthusiastic push and the Fo's 2036 cellaring timeline.

My Sacred Ground purchase is already en route back to VM HQ.

Incidentally Viinomofo sold Blackwell 19 for $19.95 late last year.

Managed to snag Henschke Mt Edelstone 2012 Shiraz & Cellared Favourites (6pk) - Mixed Case | Vinomofo Australia

Only for VM to email saying it was a mistake and it was out of stock and they will refund me. Am totally Pi55ed off, they are an e-commerce company and know exactly how many they have and it goes oos as soon as they sell out. I feel like that just didn't want to honor the deal. Any advice on way to actually get it?
Mine arrived today.
Some posts above about being offered 2004 MtE instead of 2012, so obviously something went wrong and they tried to fix it. Not really worth the aggravation, although you might get an extra credit if you complain politely.

Plenty of other other cowboys out there worse than Vinomofo. I've just been dealing with one today, a rare buy from (redacted) on a recent discount offer, bought 6 of one wine and 3 of another. This seller usually gets in stock after the sale and often takes a long time to ship and I've had issues in the past, but this was a tempting offer They eventually sent me one of the 6 and the three others without consulting me, despite still offering the other wine at the usual higher price. After some negotiation they agreed to send the other 5 at the sale price offered, will wait and see if that actually happens.
