Vinomofo Wine Deals

Think I haven't asked before, but now it's my turn:
A polite question if there are any codes around at the moment? ;)

Does your experience with it mirror Huon's? The description makes it very tempting for someone hunting for a cellarable wine, 2021 has done wonders for us wine drinkers
I believe so - the fruit is playing the prime fiddle in this orchestra. It is very much black fruit upfront supported by the bright acidity, nice long finish. Very good balance and I don't really have any complaints or faults. Smart wine. It is definitely the best d"Arenberg that I ever had including my extensive tasting at the cube 2 years ago. I got it at a much better price than RRP via a private broker.

Shiraz 2018 - Black Market Deal #46102
Unwrapped: Glen Eldon Eight Barrels Shiraz 2018

I ordered 3 cases of the above and it's running out fast but #46102 is out of stock :(
Anyone knows if VM is still selling this wine under another # ??

An actual link would be helpful

Here is the link but it's sold out now... however I believe VM often re-list wines with new #s hence my question :)

Just send vinomofo a message via chat and they’ll let you know stock. They have always let me know this way if I name the wine rather than supply the mystery wine code

I’ve had this in 2020 and 2021 over past 2 years - brokenwood soil selection chardonnay. I know the mention of a white wine causes some repulsion on here but it’s a solid quaffer over the summer months. Not too heavy on the wood and worth a stab if have a code + free shipping to get it at around $15 a bottle.

This is the 21 Twisted Trunk but it's the only one I know is up at the moment.

Was talking to @Nanachi about this before that I feel I was the only one who didn't enjoy the Glen Eldons before. My partner was not a fan either, am pretty sure we sent them back to VM.

I’m doing this too. If I liked a wine that is sold out I let them know and they often get some again at some stage and let me know immediately.

Life is too short to ignore white wines 😜 especially Chardonnay! This one is very tempting. I’m always amazed how Hunter Valley as a warm region, can produce some amazing Chardonnay.

You weren’t the only one. I found it too sweet and extracted. Tried one, sold others. But it was an earlier vintage - 2018 or 2019 from memory

Agreed on the Hunter chardonnays. I did a tour there a few years ago and expected the semillon to be top notch which it was. Definitely was blown away by the quality of the chardonnays though, that really surprised me. Peacock Hill was one of my faves on that trip and I still have a couple of their old top block chardonnays hiding in the wine fridges

Hi there :)

Anyone have an idea on #49984? vm uncovered and unwraps aren't giving me a name sadly.

Schild Estate Pramie Shiraz 2019 is the best match I can find - $70 RRP, 4.3 Vivino and 96pts Sam Kim. Also 95pts from Erin Larkin for the Wine Advocate.
