Vinomofo Wine Deals

Thanks for that, and wow, that is disappointing!
Odd, but the ES pinot comes up at $19.60 per bottle when I access the Dan Murphy's link. I did succumb to a six-pack of the Elysian Springs pinot earlier this year. I thought it was average-underwhelming with little true pinot character but not sufficiently disappointing to press the return button. Would not purchase again.

It actually sounds sufficiently disappointing to press the return button.

The issue is the single bottle promo price can sometimes be less than the unit price on a case but if you add 6 bottles to the cart you'll pay the higher price

So I ended up buying 4 for $8 each plus a couple of wynns riesling on sale. They were delivered today and…for $8 it’s a reasonable wine, but don’t expect textbook pinot. They put in some whole bunch fermented grapes, which makes it bolder and fruitier. Not bad as such, but different for a pinot. Adelaide Hills pinot is never that great anyway IMHO.

I had an Adelaide Hills Pinot 3 weeks ago, the 2021 Mount Bera which came in a mixed 6 pack PN from the Fo that I landed for about $100 recently after discounts and free freight of course. Bought 2 different 6packs a month apart. This Mt Bera was beautiful and reasonable for $35. A moorish, full flavoured one with good fruit and a bit of funk. Last Saturday night, had the 2019 Helen and Joey Layla 2019, which wasn't as good, a bit more earthy and less fruit dominated. Not bad but not worth their coin asked originally. But in a mixer of 6, fair. Couldn't find the Bera to buy more.

Looks like another big sale coming tomorrow on VM. It'll be interesting to see what's up for grabs and whether the prices are sharpish or not. Been a bit hit & miss recently with a few crackers and not much else.
