Vinomofo Wine Deals

Personally if McLaren Vale Shiraz tickles your fancy, I would recommend this Shiraz 2021 – Black Market Deal #53103 - Red Wine

Being Maxwell Wines - Products - Ellen Street Shiraz 2021

Fantastic drop, as described

WINE20 according to SMS I received should provide with $20 off

Thank me later
I'm glad to see your post. I have a box of this but have yet to try it. They seem a good outfit, from sussing them out. Although the discount wasn't massive compared to some on VM, I think that's because Maxwell doesn't inflate their RRP (unlike, say Devitt the tall shippe people)

Impressive buying, but even more impressive the very low, almost negligible attrition rate. I stopped buying copious quantities a while back so that I could make a decent dent into the stockpile and succeeded. To this I still believe the magic window for the vast majority of my reds is 5 to 9 years. Much older characteristics might appeal to some but that's my window.
Impressive no, foolish yes : because over time I've come to agree with you about the magic drinking window, plus my wife only drinks white & I don't drink enough red to get through what I have, inside that time window. Trouble is - I keep reading the emails from mof_ & going"whoah, too good to pass THAT up!" The task you set me, may help my path to recovery!

Got an email from a VM broker - they are peddling Reschke Empyrean 2016. I assume the price is $50.

In the past they sold 2008, 2010 and 2014 editions (I got 10 and 14) 14 started at $50 and was discounted to $40 later.

I am not sure if 2016 was made by the original Reschke winemaker Pete Douglas (ex Wynns in the 90s). I can see the label change from 2010 to 2014 from white to black so maybe it is a CW wines creation.
