Where in the iPhone Virgin Velocity app can I see my boarding cards? I can see 'My upcoming trips' but click on my trip tomorrow opens a web page that doesn't have a link to boarding cards? what am I doing wrong? thanks

If you have checked in online there's a boarding pass button in your trip on the Virgin Australia app, not Velocity.

They also have yet another app for inflight entertainment!
Worth noting you don’t need the entertainment app anymore. It now works through your browser when you scan the QR code on the menu. So there’s at least one you can delete!
I can't be the only one to think having both in the same place would be a simpler option?
I think this is something they are looking at. I had a survey a few weeks ago that asked many, many questions about integrating the two apps. It does make a lot of sense.

This drives me nuts. They're also both called Virgin Australia so it's a 50/50 chance you've opened the right app
The entertainment app was called “Entertain” on iPhone. But as mentioned, it’s not used anymore anyway.

Not on Android, but yeah, less of a problem these days with the entrainment being done in the browser

Yes, I got this too and voted strongly for a one size fits all app.

And I always add the BP to my Wallet app in my iPhone. Saves me from searching the right Virgin app to open the boarding pass.

Note that it is still possible not all VA aircraft have the browser based IFE and some may still require the Entertain app.

I am happy to be corrected.

I think all the 737-800s have been updated, but not 100% certain. It’s been a while since I’ve needed the app, and from the broad sample of -800’s I’ve flown recently (BSI, ex Virgin Blue, ex Silk), it’s hasn’t been needed once. They all seem to be updated now. Can’t speak for the -700s, or the VARA fleet though.

I did have a CM a couple of weeks ago who specifically said we didn’t need the app anymore.

I do this too, but the staff always get lost when I show them the mobile wallet boarding pass e.g. don't know where to look for seat number, flight number, etc. so I just use the one from the Virgin app instead (this is for Android; maybe they look different on iOS)
