It's 11:30 and passengers have been told delay is due weather(so no compo liability?) in sydney but... what weather?? I'm told Sydney been fine.

There's an ATC ground delay program in place for Sydney today due to possible storms.

Well that's more honest than what was told to passengers. Why do staff just make things up when they don't know, it only infuriates people.

Snakes on a plane anyone? A funny delay today, VA1482 (BME-PER) had a 20 min delay and it made the news:

On the VA system they have: "It is taking longer than planned to complete our departure procedures today. We're doing our best to get you on your way as soon as possible." I guess removing the snake is apart of the departure procedure

VA92 DPS - MEL has really struggled to depart at the scheduled 3:50 pm time over the past week. More often than not it has been an hour or more delayed… any clue why?

DPS is not an airport known for efficiency.

The VA91 is supposed to land at 1445, if that’s the aircraft also operating the return?

It has been consistently late leaving melbourne, giving an unrealistic turnaround time.

If they’re using another plane exDPS, the arrival time is the thing to look for. With flight padding a lot of flights can end up leaving ‘late’ but arriving on time.
