Still a few to leave the fleet, they won't get done.

VA still have 2 x A330 due to come into the fleet H2 2014 . Does anyone know a month or even down to a date when they are due ?

It is only 1 A330 to come, estimated September/October.

Thanks for the correction on only the 1 to come and the timing . I thought they were to get at total of 8 , but just looked it up and its definitely only 7 ...maybe i was wishful thinking .

It is 8, they already have 7.

A lovely CAPT told me this week that there is an intention to remove XFA or XFB from the fleet when number 8 arrives. The supposition from him was that it would allow one to be brought up to a better standard in economy and that the planned J class refits are still supposed to be hapening in 2H 2014.
Fingers and eveything crossed, because I seem to keep getting XFB to a point where it is becoming creepy, 10 t/con flt's, 8 on XFB....
