When they say "on the 26th" does that mean flights on that day will be included?

Looks like I'll be doing SYD-PER 26/09 and returning later that week...
Normally such quoted dates are inclusive when "from <date>" is used.

2013...lots of 'disgruntled' virgin F/As because they can't handle the 'requirements/demands' of the 'full service' model!!! i predict many F/A 'meltdowns'...time will telll...:?:

why cant virgin offer the same meal/drinks service on a ALL aircraft types on J/C coast 2 coast services.. and observing previous posts by others that indicates 737 J/C has a lesser food/drinks offering...at the same price!!

Galley/Storage space?

Today, full meal service for C2C services
End of the year, full meal service for rest of network
End of next year, Star Alliance?

;)
I highly doubt the last. EY are making no secret of their wish to increase their investment in VA, and unless they suddenly decide to join an alliance (which I also highly doubt), it's not likely to happen. There was a rumour from several places that they were aligning themselves to join *A, but the EY buy in probably put a kibosh on that.

The 737 has fewer seats. It commands an exclusivity premium ;).

They will be on the 330 services. As serfty states, possibly lack of galley on the 737's.

i just hope they eventually if not with this roll out included checked baggage. If they want to label themselves as full service they need to include this, especially to truly rival qantas. In my books they are not completley full service til they do this. I find it quite annoying to have to pay it seperate.

ive currently got a booking for the 24th to syd, is on the airbus and back monday 27th pretty sure was the 737. Then another booking to syd for 8th feb back 10th atm, same deal. All i currently have planned on VA right now. Will see what happens.

I don't think they label themselves as such. Full Service and Fully Inclusive are terms others use.

Virgin Australia Group Executive Alliances, Network and Yield Merren McArthur said: “Enhancing the travel experience from the East Coast to Perth is an important part of our strategy to become the airline of choice in Australia.

“We have listened to our guests and we understand that consistency of product and services, a competitive schedule and inclusive catering and entertainment make a real difference on these longer journeys.

I laughed
