I wonder what they have planned for the red-eye flights?
In J, they serve a snack service, then dim the cabin lights and then serve breakfast before landing.
It will be interesting to see whether they serve a meal in Y straight away or do something similar to what is done in J.
Most likely. I am more wondering about whether it will be a 'dinner' service or a 'breakfast' service? It'll only be one meal in Y - surely they wont do 2 on such a short flight.
I would imagine it would be some meat slopped into a container at the start and thats it.

Yesterday it was butter chicken with rice and few peas, served with a bread roll that was surprisingly tasty and a little muesli bar thing for dessert. It was fine for an economy meal.
The service was pretty slow - it was a 1pm departure and we didn't get fed until after 3pm. And I was still hungry afterwards.
Do they still offer the BOB service in addition?
DJ will go full service across all routes Jan next year, PER East Coast is the test bed for how things go before a full small rollout, so there will be a few kinks.
You sure they'll do this on-time
But not a moment too soon to be honest, the current mis-match of service would be annoying for the average customer
