What's with the anti-Josh parade?

IIRC he received it as part of a promotion, but has since re-qualified several times over.

What a welcoming bunch we are here, to younger members.

Not anti Josh at all. I was only pointing out the perhaps he does not fly as often as his status may indicate.

I don't see Gordons post as overly attacking he was merely asking him to clarify his statement by asking for his sample size. Quite often here we read big statements about how QF/DJ don't do this and do that and it turns out the poster was a one flight wonder.

Its all about the ties scarfs and badges.

Over the last few days the ground crew have swapped over to the new uniform... there should be no more taupe/brown (hasnt been onboard since the new uniform was launched)
The CS scarf is slightly different to the rest of the crew. It has a barely noticeable white cross through the bottom of it whereas the crew have a red cross. The tie is easier to work out the difference. The CS badge is Grey.
The new ground uniform looks good - red tie / scarf with red and purple .

During boarding the CS is usually busy with paperwork etc in the galley and the other fwd crew member do most boarding while the CS makes PA's.

I am impressed with the direction that the new Virgin Australia are heading.

It is heading more upmarket trying to capture some of that lucrative business market, I am not talking business class but those passengers who have to fly regularly.

It is possible that Virgin has lost some of that earlier flair that some people liked but I wasn't a big fan of it. It will also come down to certain cabin crew. I was impressed with Virgin Australia on my most recent flight last week, maybe free lounge and Live2Air had something to do with it, but the cabin crew displayed a more professional attitude.

I guess each of us has different opinions which we all need to respect.
