Click here for a list of current Virgin Australia discount codes:

A while back VA had a discount code that could be used for (almost) any domestic booking.

Are there any discount codes that work at the moment?

Thanks!

You are exactly right Karen. But I've never really understood the desire for those domestic business seats. (unless of course someone else is picking up the tab) Stretching out in the row 3 seats, with a full tummy thanks to lounge-grazing isn't really too removed from the seats ahead, across the magnetic divide. (and the wallet bulge is always the most measureable difference - certainly the only relevant factor to yours truly). I did pick up a J ticket BNE-MEL once (on a $89 sale purchase last year). Flight was chockers - they had staff that had to get on that flight, myself and 2 other Plats were moved from row 3 into J. Nice surprise, had a bonus meal - but still arrived at the same time, still walked into the Melbourne rain pretty much the same person.

But at the end of the day, as you imply, you have to work it all into your personal budget, your own set of needs and priorities, and just hope you keep yourself balanced and humble, so you can keep tripping along the following year.

Life just keeps revolving,

the coles code only seems to bring up a limited selection of flights. actually got a 10% promo code through work, so will use instead. first time using a code in adherence with the t's & c's .... gasp

What travel dates did you select? It appears to be working for me for all domestic flights for travel 1 Feb - 31 Mar

Just received this email from Europcar below. So far, I haven't tested the code yet but it looks promising and I hope it is useful for some here:

As a preferred partner of Virgin Australia, Europcar is excited to offer you exclusive airfare savings of up to 25% off across all domestic Australian routes.

Reservation dates: Up to 31 January 2015
Travel dates: 1 February - 31 March 2015
Promo code: FGJ23

*Applies to ALL Australian destinations (domestic sale only)

*Up to*. Would be interested in what routes qualify for the 25% off as like the BCK45 I only get the standard 10% off. Still better than nothing :)

A quick search with FGJ23 gives a 20% discount for return fares MEL - CBR in late Feb.

Will check it out for my upcoming PER flights as well.

Looks like the credit card may get another beating

Great work in picking this up Peter78!

BCK45 is the code offered by my company also. I found 15% off Melb-Syd, can't find the 25%!
