Qf currently only offers on "tier" of j, with 4 "tiers" of y

On the East - West flights QF have been offering two tier J pricing for at least a year, with a certain number of cheap seats, once sold, the price reverts to full J.

QF have standard and discount J on all routes, for instance BNE-SYD its $649 jumping to $812 when seats dry up and full fare is the only option.

I looked while I was there, the flight deck door was closed. Damm there good.

I'm thinking if we put our heads together we can borrow a Pilot's ASIC without him knowing.

The first DJ aircraft VH_YFC with the sky interior is not far away, its on the flightline at RNT having done its first flight on the 12/3, so we are close to getting more revealed.

Will the A330's be MEL based or SYD based? All I know is that DJ won't be operating A330's to MEL when they come into service only later when the 3rd and 4th ones arrive.

Exciting times! Does anyone know when it goes into the paint shop?

Well spotted Liam, it was indeed our bird, VH-XFA!

I saw XFA yesterday at Adelaide while waiting for my flight to MEL. It landed and simply taxiied to the runway to takeoff again. Obviously doing pilot training.

An empty A330 fairly well leaps off the ground in short order!
