Even though they took away the best part of this (flexi and J), there is still good value to be found:

Did my first one for a while MEL - CNS in busy September school hols, semi-last minute holiday plans. $339 saver fare for 1. $383 two41. Happy enough with that, currently on a $0 annual fee card so anything was just a bonus.

This reminds me - I cancelled this card last week after getting a fee waiver around 8mths ago. Retentions worked very hard in trying to keep me, even offering me 5k points to stay. Had to fight very hard with my conscience not to take them and cancel the card in a month's time. They did ask what it would take me to stay; turns out my answer of 30k points was a bridge too far...
