Virgin Flyer Card - now 75k introductory points

I've had the card twice - good in my experience. I just closed it down - I probably should have kept it for a 4th month in case they paid me a 4th set of bonus points like last time.

Also, before closing, make sure you get the Flight Voucher. Also note the Flight Voucher is valid for 6 months so factor that in when timing your closure.

I currently have the card. Signed up under the previous 20K per month x 3 promo. Had various issues with the application process and most points payments have been allocated outside the T&C's. Hope this continues as after a little bit of effort to follow up with emails and calls to customer service I have so far received 20K extra points for poor service on application process and 32K compo points for late arrival of points to Velocity.

Have and ongoing issue and waiting for follow up but expecting a further 20K compensation.

I've only had the QF Money since Feb. Perhaps I should wait till 6 months have passed seeing as I haven't even cancelled it yet.

Spent $2600 in the first month, $365 was a local council govt rate.
1st date in the 2nd month, the 25k bonus points was in my Virgin account, plus the regular points from spending.

It is annoying virgin money still charge a CC surcharge fee when using a virgin money card to book a virgin flight
