But when you go into the booking process there is a little note: "Seating will be in Economy" Now why would I buy a Business Class fare that seats in Economy????

I have a feeling that the website simply hasn't been updated yet since they have bought the J Cabin onto the V Australia fleet just recently on Aus > NZ routes, but you raise a good point

I tried a dummy booking and could only get row 3.

BNE/SYD/MEL/OOL > * To Selected New Zealand Destination Fares in J are on Happy Hour today starting at $549 one way!

Also, BNE/SYD > LAX in Premium Economy Return $2500, Valid for fare dates 13th July to 15th September & 10th October to10th December

Snagged SYD-LAX for a conference in August and upgraded. Was tempted a couple of weeks ago at $2650, given upgrades were still there and I kicked myself for not moving then, I didn't want to regret again.
So a few more $ for a bunch more SCs and confirmed business for the longhaul.

Here's hoping they don't come out next week with the flat $2k PE seats again!

I tend to completely forget about the Happy Hour sales as, although I still receive the emails, nowadays they don't arrive until well after the sale finishes. Over the past couple of weeks, the email didn't arrive until after 11pm (Perth time) and yesterday's one landed in my Inbox at 3.22am today!

And now it's just getting a bit ridiculous - the email for yesterday's happy hour didn't arrive until 7.13am today.

$2700 for BNE/SYD-LAX PE this week. Website says one way, but it's actually return. Good range of dates too.

I saw that - also thought that SYD or BNE to LAX for $1100 one way was not particularly happy given I'd paid $1050 return not that long ago (Oct) for June 2015.

So perhaps they are return fares.
