None of the fancy new lunches in SYD today just soup and salad ( unless they aren't out yet) Had the same story for MEL last Friday Morning.

When oh when will I see this new menu?

Potato salad was the only thing that seemed reasonably edible today around 11.30am at SYD.Pumpkin risotto around noon in MEL on Monday. Was pretty ordinary.

Chilli con carne in the OOL lounge yesterday evening. Good to see a change from hot dogs and vegetarian fried rice.

I didn't touch it though preferring kettle potato chips as my dinner option.

Chili goes very well with hot dogs

Boiled eggs in SYD lounge this morning. Really hard boiled eggs. And small triangle hash-browns which were soft and tasty. And baked beans.

I was really looking forward to bacon but couldn't find any. Guess my heart will thank me for it.

Hubby was in Perth T2 (apparently this is the terminal the Virgin FIFOs use) and he reports no still bacon and a serve yourself coffee machine (which he didn't mind as there was no waiting for a barista to show), but there was something tasty which eludes me and yoghurt with good fruit.

I understand that this lounge is a 'regional' lounge based on the one in Mackay, so I guess anything different from the basic buffet should come as a bonus, I didn't expect (nor did I receive) the 'new menu' in the Mackay lounge last week.

Perth, a regional config? Isn't it just an old lounge awaiting the upgraded terminal?

I just popped into the Melbourne lounge now whilst waiting for my brother to get through immigration and customs. The picking are very slim indeed, even had to wait for a while before someone bothered to come over to make coffees. Pretty poor indeed. Can't even see any chips or popcorn snacks etc.

Love that there's usually a "treat" in Melbourne - either hot dogs or nachos. And bacon for breakfast is a nice touch in Brisbane. I'm with the majority of posts ... mix it up a little, guys!

First time in the Adelaide lounge this weekend..... underwhelming to say the least and so much worse than the qantas club there.
