Would anyone know of any way to get 2 people in the Virgin lounge in Syd & Melb who aren't members or ff status high enough?? Cheers

For the $65 entry fee entry, per person, for the extra 2, they will still need to be flying.
They don't need to be VFF members, just flying VA.
They ask for BP too, apart from you being willing to stump up the $130.
The credit card entries, while included in the card fee, the card fees of these can be quite astronomical, $395 a year. and you also have to also pass their credit assessment.

I'll just add (in case you're not aware of this) that even if you're willing and able to stump up the dosh there's no guarantee that you'll be able to do so. This "benefit" is subject to availability, i.e. if the lounge is deemed to be full they wouldn't let you do this.

As a relative newcomer to Virgin (a Virgin virgin, groan 😏) I don't know how likely this would be to happen but, assuming your entourage is not travelling at a hideously peak time on Xmas Eve or something, I'd say that most of the time you'd be OK.

Hi all
I gather Virgin Lounge access remains more liberal than QF enhanced from 15 June 2023 (guest must be flying access)
this suggests Gold can take 1 guest (no need to be flying) plus kids

Correct, the coughpy make the customer pay decision from QF hasn't made its way to VA...yet...

VA is happy to accept Aud$65 per pax if flying.
Not cheap, but better than QF.
If flying person with VA takes in guests (non flying), not sure how that case would end up, maybe VA will get them to pay $65 too.
I have never asked, but when flying non prem cabin with VAd, I do pay the Aud$65.
On a 3 hour stint, its worth it for a place to sit.
When I enter, and if I am not flying premium, they always ask for BP as well.
