I think it depends on the purpose for the visit. Not great for business stays unless attending a conference at the ICC, but I don't think it's a terrible location for tourists from interstate/overseas. A bit like the Sofitel - it's good for Vivid, the regular Darling Harbour Saturday night fireworks, F&B options in Darling Square, etc.

The proximity of the Western Distributor is my main concern, and how it would impact the open air rooftop area, but I'll reserve judgement for when the hotel actually opens.

Anyone staying there should close their curtains especially at night unless they want to put on a show for all of Darling Harbour.

It is impossible not to see it when you are in Darling Harbour, really stands out.

Yeah not the cheapest if I ever wanted to go on a staycation paying with cash.

Havent found the number of points required for 1 night but it should still be just under 85k eventually which means you can use the Free Night Certificate that comes with the US Bonvoy Brilliant card...

I walked past this morning, I actually didn’t quite click that it’s actually circled by the highways, it’s basically built on a traffic island. They better have spent up big on noise insulation and air filtration!

I cant find any virtuoso rates for this hotel. Does any one know if they offer something similar with the $100USD breakie and stuff?
