Tonight on a VA2 flight from BNE, again it’s KFC but this time it’s a Family sized bucket of chicken!

The flight attendant half heartedly tried to stop it but as it’s not hot liquid open, didn’t have any recourse with the pax 😂

I’ve done my last 4 flights with a mouse trap. I have no idea why it’s been in my laptop bag. No issues with security and no requests mid flight for rodent control.
I regularly carry a mouse and even a mouse mat, but as far as I can remember, never a mouse trap. Would love to see the security officer searching your bag and pulling his hand out with a snapped mouse trap hanging off his finger :eek:o_O

I had a bottle of Windex taken from me in MEL quite a few years ago (I was moving interstate and I didn't realise it was in my bag).

Lady at security said "You can only take things you can spray on your body". Now, this was around the time "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" was out, and for those who have seen, know that "put some Windex on it" (some kind of skin ailment) was a common phrase of the movie.

I offered to spray it on my arm but she wouldn't play ball. I didn't really care, I just thought it was funny.

Ha ha @justinbrett your post reminds me of the time I had a bottle of Spray & Wipe in my backpack - no issues with security. But it started leaking while in the overhead locker - dripping onto the head of a lady sitting in the row behind me - she sort of muttered "something's leaking and on rubbing her hair said it smells like Spray & Wipe" - OMG - I suddenly realised it was mine - I was very apologetic, fortunately she thought it was funny.

A quick flight from Tehran to Baku in 2015 saw an extremely large man travel with a filled garbage bag as carry on.

I say an extremely large man as in addition to the ignominy of not fitting the seatbelt extender and being wedged into the two seats of the Embraer we were on, as another passenger put their bag into the overhead they accidentally tore the garbage bag causing a waterfall of popcorn to fall upon this poor man.

Yesterday BNE-MEL on QF, young lady in 4A and escorting the crystal Ashes trophy. It had its own ticket and seat 4B, i was in 4c

Wonder how things are arranged? The CA and ECB plates indicate different directions of up. I assume, given the trouble to take it on board and keep it in a seat, that they are keeping it the right way up, but the labelling looks curious.

Clearly, depending on which hemisphere its in, the case changes orientation.
