I also have trouble finding JCRs on partner airlines. However I have no problem getting them on AA on JL. CX and QR at 330 days when for a month they had not appeared on QFF.Non flying guest access removal is perfectly fair though. Would barely impact any members and would help reduce overcrowding to the extent it did.
Any Seat awards were axed 10 years ago.
LTP is an addition, albeit an unachievable one!
So we're left with classic seat awards being less plentiful, but really this is across the board. It's no coincidence other partner awards (which Qantas has no control over) have also dried up over this time.
Compare with airlines like Delta who have made all sorts of controversial changes recently. QFF don't really like rocking the boat!
If you're still primarily using QF points for classic awards on QF partners outside of Australia, I wouldn't be too worried. But Velocity points are useful for getting to and from SIN on SQ to start a OWA.I am currently weighing up whether to apply for a credit card with 80,000 QF points or with 80,000+30,000 Velocity points - both Westpac, same annual fee. It may be moot anyway as I am getting rejections for credit card applications at the moment, but interesting that this is making me think.
I’m a WP!Me neither !

There will be no back down of the product. Pricing, who knows.Could these all be "controlled leaks" to run it up the flagpole and see who salutes, so to speak? And what are the chances of a backdown if there is some significant negative public reactions, do we think?
Exactly the sort of PR Qantas is looking for. 'More seats' for 'fewer points'.Nine News says Qantas Classic+ is coming where 1 point = $0.01 for seat purchases in Y.
Starting to wonder now if these Classic+ Reward options will come with anything that the current Classic Reward doesn't... like maybe some SCs for non PC/PC+ members (or perhaps a boost to the earned SCs for those with PC/PC+). Possibly Classic+ flights will be eligible for the 4 QF flight segment minimum counts for status attainment (not an issue for PC/PC+, but adds something for others). What else are we thinking?...
Almost certainly not. I do see where you're going with the JV thought, but tbh I can't see it happening. Is there any hope that this will be available on JV partner flights like EK and AA??
That would be a real win!Is there any hope that this will be available on JV partner flights like EK and AA??
