I will plan a visit in about 12 years afro... Better warm up the BBQ!

yes ste677, i'm in the "early" group.

penegal, i prefer slow roast prime rib(although i have no idea how to cook them).but why 12 years?

not sure where you at but lots of people from another forum already received theirs within 2 weeks(adelaide and tassie). again, wendouree works in a mysteries ways.

Throw away number - I enjoy my wine with a little age. Although 6-8 is probably ok for most Aussie wines.

Mind you - we could do next week with an older vintage ;)

And the prime rib sounds yum.

Someone on another forum mentioned a newbie who only signed up a month ago mysteriously ended up
with 6 of each. Yes 6 of each for a newb. 6 of cab and 6 cab blends.

Haven't seen the mailer yet - bit early still?
September 1st the stated release date so the mailer can't be too far away (not that I'm on the list yet).

Fortunately, the guy who runs the auswine forum seems to get a decent allocation so I'm down for a mixed 6.

Sweet - got some respite on card from Wendouree for a month - then Tonic / Marius / Noons - ouch

maybe i should clear things up here, i got the marius early because roger from marius wine offered an alternative for existing mailing list members(few years ago, aound the 2012 vintage release) to get the wine before any reviews shows up , so if you are new on the mailing list, you will need to wait for the actual release date in order to get your wine.

Ah makes sense now, only been on a year, he was kind to give the pickers some of the 15s at harvest tho - but haven't opened. Stellar reviews on WF, is there normally limits?

yes, pickers usually are the first that get to taste the new and the older vintages, 1 dozen of each wine is the limit.

is there normally limits?

Normal limit is 6 for the shiraz. This year 6 for the Cabernet Sauvignon was also introduced. No limits on the others but that doesn't mean you'll get as much as you want.

I just want to know how you secured that Cab Malbec ;)

Let me know if you feel you can only drink 5 of the six

i ordered 6 each every year since 2011 vintage, haven't miss a bottle since the first time(2011 vintage i got in late).

i go halfs with a friends so i have 3 bottles of each left, i would of sell you one at mail list price if i have more.
