But you can use the PO Box as well.

Lita usually does the correspondence. Can help to get you on the list if you know someone already and tell them that you have enjoyed Wendouree Wines from that person and would like an opportunity to purchase some yourself.

They are very aware of new people just wanting to get hold of the shiraz to sell on the secondary market as usually you can command a 50% premium soon after the vintage is released for this item.

Yep that's the one I sent to, you'd think regardless the Post Office/Posty would know who they are.

Wrote to Wendouree a couple of years ago. Last year was told I'm on the list but it was a lean vintage so wasn't given an order form.

They did say that I should receive one this year though. When do the order forms typically come out? Any advice on first order?

I’d say the letters will come out in a week or two and the basic advice - do not order just shiraz.

Wendouree never specifically articulates the arrangements, but you'll find more established members do get privileges and they also usually rotate states preferentially.

I joined the mailing list in late 2020 and wasn't able to secure an allocation in 2021 or 2022 due to the lean vintages.

I recall from last year's letter that the yield for this year's release was fairly generous, so here's hoping for a change of luck.

Yeah, I did.

After the first rejection in 2021, they asked me to write back and confirm that I wished to stay on the mailing list. Last year, they said that they would retain my details and write to me again next vintage.

I was on the mailing list through the 1990's but after moving a few times eventually fell off and then life got in the way. Earlier this year I wrote to them and asked if I could be put back on it and today received a letter saying I have been put back on the list, that was the good news. The not so good news was I will not be receiving the order sheet for the 21 vintage as the quantities are low and the order would most likely go unfilled. At least I am back on the list

I posted a letter last night to remind them I’m still interested and got my first letter today! Limit of 6 bottles, choice of 6 so I guess I’ll take one of each ;-)
