Card Offers Westpac Altitude Black offers: 120,000 Qantas or Velocity Points (expires 30/4/25)

Do you get an email confirmation or anything once opted in? I tried but the web page kept giving an error, not sure what's going on.

No never received any confirmation in email from Westpac.

For St George, you have to follow the same procedure, when I spoke to them on the phone they could see that I had registered - I'm sure Westpac would have the same capability.

Data point on the WPC amex insurance. Bought piece of furniture from amart which went on sale for Black Friday a week or so later. Submitted form online with screenshots of online sale price, was paid the difference in full within 10 days. No calls/queries, all extremely straightforward. First time using this insurance - I’m impressed.

Has anyone achieved a 3000 spend before September and has still not received the 80'000 from Westpac still? I am looking to log a complaint, I had this same problem with St. George where I had to log a complaint to finally get my bonus.

Maybe this is targeted? I got an offer of just the MC for $0 through online banking

I called Westpac and they waived the fee said it was a "SYSTEM ERROR" Wonder how many people forget io was free and pay it without knowing ....

Has anyone closed the westpac card but kept the amex open (successfully)?

Qualified for the min spend on the Mastercard days after receiving it. About to receive the third statement but the bonus are nowhere to be shown. Still within the advertised wait time I suppose.

Received the bonus Points from the AMEX immediately immediately upon reaching the min spend however (they appeared on the AMEX website and posted with the next statement), like all other AMEX bonus points offers.

Yes. Closed the Westpac card through internet banking. No problem at all.
Good to know. It's earning Qantas Points for me currently but in light of the AMEX MR devaluation I'm thinking about turning this into an earn option for KrisFlyer for overseas spend.

Is the fee free promotion still available?

I followed a bookmarked link I have and I'm seeing an annual fee of $250 (+$50 for QF) for the Mastercard.

Im also on the lookout, failing to find the $0 - I suspect its finished.
Kicking myself for not taking the targeted offer through online banking last week

Has anyone had success in meeting the Amex $3,000 spend criteria with ATO payments?

It's specifically excluded for the mastercard but nothing about the ATO is mentioned for Amex
