What cheeses me off

Our bin collection seems to roll by at just after 6am now (used to be 8.45). Forgot last week....... so a sight to behold, me running out there in my jimmy jams to roll them out. Have just put them out for tomorrow (just gone midnight here, so collected soon enough).

Also known as fly tipping..... over here, anyway!

WCMO is our new neighbours who open the bathroom window right up when they're showering, got an under the covers glimpse - all on show while I was sitting out on our side balcony. Or should that not CMO? ;-)
I hope they were at least Qantas pj's @Flashback !

A coastal village (south coast NSW) we've been visiting for over 20 years went from normal sized waste bins (half the size of recycling/green waste bins) to half that size again - tiny. ..... t. The rental house owner could easily have just paid for a second bin I guess.

Where our holiday house is (surf coast VIC) when they launched the green "FOGO" bins, they went to the half size bin, and simultaneously went from weekly to fortnightly collection. Most of our guests (except the aforementioned ones who dump soiled nappies into the recycling), if they have excess, tend to put it into tied up bags next to the bins, which we can take to the nearby transfer station (which has an after hours bin area for holiday home owners). The only problem is if we, or our cleaners can't get to the place that day or the next, the birds can, and sometimes do, have a field day ...

WCMO is when you accidentally miss a meeting and not one attendee thinks to text you to see where you are. Even worse, I was messaging my boss at the time and he didn't mention it either.

WCMO is Pharmacists who can’t get a prescription right. Filled a script for Prodeine (paracetamol and codeine). They came out with a different box and I asked is that the same as Prodeine. Yes yes was the answer. Checked the box as I was walking to the checkout and it was Comfarol Forte containing 30mg of Codeine whereas Prodeine has 9.6mg of Codeine. This was for my 85 year old mum with cardiac and pulmonary issues and stage 3 kidney failure. The Pharmacist’s comment was “oh good catch” 😡

No no no, thats actually very bad.

I would actually write to pharmac_ and report. Medicine errors - either prescribing, dispensing or administering are unfortunately common but often dangerous when it happens. In hospitals any medicine errors are required to be reported. Not for punishment but for learning and investigating why it happened and hopefully better practice in the future

Huh?

The tracking shows ADL-MEL-SYD-MEL-SYD.
I’m not saying that the particular article in question is showing incorrectly but the track and trace system isn’t entirely reliable and can give errors or even be manipulated.
Unfortunately there is always an element of error in the system due to mechanical or human error and as such parcels end up doing laps of the country

I know I'm old fashioned from the age of the dinosaurs but when did become ok to wear bras in public?

I don't care what dumb name they use for this lame excuse for fashion but it looks awful and does not belong in a shopping centre on Thursday afternoon before late night shopping.

It has always been ok, I think you mean without a shirt/top over the top ;)

I would not dream of going out in public bra less.

The cost of stuff .. Swmbo shops and I had no idea.
Swmbo still unwell so I was asked to pick up two x 250g chunks of fish and a kilo of prawns…..$81 au .. bloody hell how do folks live?

By not paying more to eat fish than the chicken or tofu or styrofoam packing which would be a superior meal?!

That's great advice but I feel I need to have a vice. I don't eat out. I don't buy alcohol. I don't buy designer clothes. I love the thrill that gambling provides. Gambling these days for me is more about taking risks but I don't do big bets. I can go weeks without adding any money to 3 betting accounts but then can have a bad run and add a few hundred dollars.

The first question should be how did a 15 year old get into gambling? It's in my blood. Destiny? Simulation?
Do you steal the beers you have after golf then, or when waiting for the girls shopping when in Thailand? ;) ;)
That's interesting and I had no idea that may include a fine.

We stopped using rubbish bin a long time ago and I don't use neighbours' bins. We take our household rubbish daily to council provided street bins, park bins or mall bins.

We've only ever encountered one cleaner in a mall who saw us dropping rubbish into their bins but never an issue anywhere else.
Why not use....... your own bins?

Ha, it's been hot here, so my boxer shorts and a Beer Laos singlet I bought in .... Laos! :P

I was actually talking to Mrs FB about this the other day, what's with the trend of NOT wearing bras. I wonder if they realise their perky potentials are going to become saggy suckers much quicker.

Maybe it’s the YOLO again?

Also maybe I need to care about what’s going on around me or something, I‘ve noticed neither the only-bras nor the not-bras … :)

Just a bra with no clothes over the top.

Which reminds me of the other silly trend of singlets/see through t-shirts with no bra underneath.

I can just imagine most guys crossing paths with these young girls thinking only about their intellect. How can any guy not notice and not stare? If you don't want guys to stare at you then learn how to dress in public....
