You seriously think all travellers know that? I think you forget we exist in a world of our own here on AFF and honestly it isn't real traveller world.Although clearly shows him turning left upon boarding. I'm not sure anyone would think that it was whY.
I do, I've only had the pleasure of J in the last couple of years. I had decades of being in self funded whY on LH and ULH, and work funded whY at 6am/7pm on Syd/Mel.You seriously think all travellers know that? Sure, but I don't think the layman really thinks about 'turning left' or 'turning right' ... they just think about getting on and into their seat.I do, I've only had the pleasure of J in the last couple of years. On A380 not uncommon to exit whY by walking through F or on 747s through J, plebs were accutely aware of what luxury lay left of boarding or beyond the curtain. Even recently on A330 SYD-PER we had to walk through J to get to whY.

And again this isn't the pattern of travel for those who might take a flight once a year to visit relatives interstate or overseas, which is the target audience the advertisement is directed towards.

So said to come back at 3 as they will open then ... nope, still closed and no movement in sight, all the staff that were hanging out in the space have disappeared. I'm hungry!WCMO is a lounge not letting you in saying they're closed .... when they're meant to be open 24 hours? Dubrovnik airport.

Looks like they're building new or extending next door too.

FWIW, the boarding pass shows business class.

No - ripping people off and not caring if they notice.WCMO - Booking tickets for a concert etc via ticketing websites and you select the email or SMS me my tickets etc that are no additional fee (all good so far) and then you get to the page to enter your CC and BAM -
NON OPTIONAL - Service and Handling Fee - $XX.XX
WTF.... what service and handling have you or your staff done???
None is the correct answer. You have already paid for the technology and servers etc.
Stop ripping people off and hoping that no one will notice!
If I understand the ads storyline, mums present is that her son is flown home business to see her, rather mum being sent on a trip overseas. I’ll expect my kids to fly me to where they areWCMO. The Qantas ad, Feels like Home, where there's no mention of the fact that the guy flying from wherever, is flying J class. Giving the impression that everyone gets their Jim jams and has a flat seat.
We had family friends who were going to NZ and they said to my mother that they were going to get to the airport early so they could board early and get a seat up the front (and no we are not talking Ryanair here).Sure, but I don't think the layman really thinks about 'turning left' or 'turning right' ... they just think about getting on and into their seat.
You mean not talking Southwest. Ryanair definitely preallocates seats, as seat reservation payments are an important part of their business model. We had family friends who were going to NZ and they said to my mother that they were going to get to the airport early so they could board early and get a seat up the front (and no we are not talking Ryanair here).
Ryanair used to have open seating, though. You mean not talking Southwest. Ryanair definitely preallocates seats, as seating payments are important part of their business model.
Some time ago now though. I flew them last in 2016 and it was pay for seating or risk being split up (we didn't and we were, but it was only a one hour flight). Even Jetstar started with open seating , under the direction of a then little known CEO...Ryanair used to have open seating, though.

At best it may have been something lost in translation and could have been "check in early at a counter and get a better seat".We had family friends who were going to NZ and they said to my mother that they were going to get to the airport early so they could board early and get a seat up the front (and no we are not talking Ryanair here).
No these people did not realise that seating was allocated and that the front of the plane was business class (which they weren't). They thought it was like a coach trip with whoever got on first could sit at the front of the plane. It was quite a few years ago and was their first flight of any kind.At best it may have been something lost in translation and could have been "check in early at a counter and get a better seat".
Either way, it would likely be a waste of time.
