Very poor IT then. It is a compliance issue if you take payments from a customer that has cancelled their policy.Because maybe you'd cancelled before the system caught up or not within the cancellation schedule? In any case Two days isn't enough time to expect things involving a direct debit to cancel on time. I pay such ongoing payments by PayPal and cancel the 'subscription ' through them then advise the vendor. PayPal stops it immediately.
The programming in the payment update each night is very simple.
Is customer active? No? Exit. Yes? Take payment.
So I also have a TPG monthly internet account for daughter. The Belong account was temporary as she ran out of data in September and I stuffed up. New month starts 26th but TPG takes money on the 19th. Why are you taking money 1 week early? That's our rules.
I would like to cancel this service and keep the number but I want to keep the service as close as possible to the 26th before transporting number to another provider. TPG do not let me remove credit card. So now have to put a stop payment or update credit card to overlimit credit card.
They blatantly make it difficult to try and get money from you.
