What cheeses me off

People that (online) scream "Whats the recipe" every single time someone posts a pic on my bakers group. Doesnt matter what the pic is of.

Im not special about recipes as all of mine are from the internet so I will share but google is full of recipes and most are exactly the same so just try something and tweak to your likes

I'm beginning to think there needs to be a separate thread dedicated to "Denali's Food Pr0n" 🤣

Looks delicious!! 🤤🤤🤤

So you have reached your capacity, then?
I find all these puns quite shocking. Watt on Earth is going on today?

In other news... I bought a jumper on sale today but quickly found it was picking up too much static electricity. Decided to return it to the store. Amazing customer service - they gave me another one free of charge.

I'm one of those people who naturally gathers static. I used to zap the kids when they were in the supermarket trolleys. Now I just zap the cat sometimes. I can see it and hear the crack.

Yesterday I needed to get my 240L veg recycle bin out of an awkward spot. I lifted it kind of over my head and launched it over the top of the hydrangea. As I followed it, it bounced and the top of the bin flicked back and the handle struck me hard on the skull behind the left ear. Still a bit headachey and have a bit of a lump going on. Yeah, stupid, I know.

Ditto. I put it down to being an Electrical Engineer…

Coles/Flybuys running the Mastercard promotion of 2000 Flybuys for $100 spend up to 5 times.

I purchased 5 gift cards on wife's account using 28 Degrees. $525. Payment goes through as normal. Each one of the 5 gift cards fails to load. I have never seen this before.

Coles refuses to refund me saying I have to contact Mastercard. But I paid Coles on a Coles eftpos terminal. Why are you putting the responsibility on me of seeking refund? Extremely poor customer service.

Do I try purchasing another 5 gift cards on my Flybuys account? What's the chance they'll fail?

Coles, Flybuys and Mastercard are not going to accept responsibility. By the way there's nothing wrong with the gift cards. All with 10/27 or 06/26 expiry. I have $1000 credit available. Who knows how long it will take to refund. This means I can't take advantage of this promotion as only 3 days left.

I really hate this life. It's just one obstacle after another. Has anyone ever had all 5 gift cards fail to load? Evil.

I would have asked to speak to store manager. If the cards didn’t load, it's Coles' problem! In a similar situation, I got the cards refunded by Coles...and as a bonus, still got all the bonus points!

That was the store manager.

Went to different Coles to do shopping and bought another 5 Mastercards on my Flybuys account using 28 Degrees. This time 4 were successful and 1 failed to load.

Spoke to store manager who said Coles management have advised do not refund any gift card purchase.

- Need to call the number on the back, quote the 6 Mastercards that failed to load and they will send refund to store and I then need to head back that store to get the refund
- If the 2 x 10,000 bonus points do load to each Flybuys account I'd then need to contact Flybuys and they'll credit the points

This is really disappointing. That's the first time I've had failures and to have that many is weird. Why do Coles take payment if they fail to load?

WCMO is when you book a place for brunch... and then they get there and tell you they don't do it anymore. Conveniently though, you can get a lot of the same items on their lunch food menu at 30-40% more for the same item!

Shame, as the place looked really interesting especially with its kick cough sound system.
