What cheeses me off

People standing next to the carousel. I still remember the time before we had carousels, you had to retrieve your luggage directly off the cart/trolley which was driven direct to the baggage claim area from the plane

Nov 2019 in Port Macquarie, so very restricted use since it was introduced

This is still the case with some regional airports in Nepal. I visited Pokhra and Jomsom airports in April this year and the baggage drop and collection areas were a trolly and a wooden bench respectively.

Looks like precious cargo if it were in Australia!

Wasn't that long go LST provided this service.

What cheeses me off is why hotels have to make their in-room TVs so complicated to navigate away from the in-house movie setting so they can skin you for another $20 that you lose the desire to live b4 you find something that’s not gunna cost you

FFS - I know about your fitness centre - I know about your restaurants - that’s called hotel research - pls let me just get to the TV channels?

What cheeses me off is why new are aircraft built where you need to be a NASA trained pax to work out a simple seat forward - back - recline - non recline - footrest out - footrest back - footrest down - back to upright - FFS we need a tablet to do this?

I’m tippin this would have even had Moses scratchin’ his head!

Red wine with a tart taste so you know the vineyard crushed some unripe green grapes in the mix. I was surprised by a big name WA vineyard having that problem last week.Won’t be buying that one again.

Definitely something that bothers me too. Some reds I have had had a mineral-y finish, which leaves a very bitter aftertaste.

It didn’t cheese me off, but I did raise an eyebrow … why did QANTAS send me an SMS at around 3am this morning telling me QF2 was arriving at 6:17am?
It potentially, would have cheesed off someone, who was meant to receive that message and did not receive it ;):D:D

What cheeses me off is people using the soles of their feet to press buttons at traffic signals and anywhere else.

I mean seriously? Prime candidates for the sawdust on skull award. Disgusting practice especially if you notice how young kids behave when they encounter these buttons....

What cheese me off is the Australia Post... for so many reasons but these are the ones on the top of my mind -

1. My package from ADL to SYD went ADL-SYD-MEL-PTH-SYD-delivered (not surprisingly it was late)

2. Getting a missed delivery card for packages when they are 'attempted' to be delivered to our office during business hours and our office is clearly open and has people coming in and out

3. Not getting cards for packages that are delivered straight to the Post Office with any attempt to deliver (only found out after the Post Office called me and said that there were x packages waiting for us)

4. Getting cards saying that packages are at Post Office X when they are sitting at Post Office Y (taught me to always call first)

I'm sure that I've got more but that's enough to bore everyone with.

This one actually has a procedural reason, it's not a very good one, but does exist ...

If you get a parcel that's considered bigger than what can be carried by the postie, it goes Parcel Post (or at least what used to be called Parcel Post ... may be a different name now they've subbed out all this delivery work). If it goes Parcel Post then they SHOULD be delivering it, for sure.
However if it's deemed small enough to be delivered by the postie but it doesn't fit in the letterbox, that's when you get the card. They're not allowed to park the bike & leave it unattended in order to go inside a premises, so if they've been given something to deliver but it doesn't fit in the letterbox they can't do anything much about it - you're scrood basically.

I try to avoid Oz Post deliveries to work for small items for that exact reason ...

What cheeses me off (and gives me heart palpitations) is people who grab their supposedly "unique looking" bag off the airport luggage belt without checking whether it is actually theirs and blithely toddle off leaving you behind with their bag eventually coming through, complete with their brightly multi coloured fabric ribbon attached to presumably prevent such a mishap. Luckily said "unique looking" bag was able to be spotted by me before the culprits had sailed through customs at LAX out into the greater LA blue yonder. Something along the lines of "oh we didn't think anyone else would have a bag like this" was muttered......

What cheeses me off is businesses exploiting a certain situation and severely marking up goods.

Masks were a classic case and then antigen kits.

What Cheeses Me Off - when I miss a call from a number I don't recognize and when I call back only to hear the number is not connected. Kept getting these calls from a AU mobile number, but when I call it's not connected. Wondering if someone is trying to hack/steal/scam
