What cheeses me off

WCMO when a venue changes recipe for what was an awesome dish to be for the worse.

At pub trivia tonight and the bistro has always done an awesome beef & guineas pot pie with mashed potatoes.

Order it tonight to find the pie filling riddled with disgusting celery which needs to be picked out and the grant very back peppery.

Guessing a change of chef, for shame.

I am in the Qld floods, in Cairns, but no problems personally and very little around here in general except for no way in or out by road.

The NBN died on Mon or Tues, so did 5G, everyone switched to mobiles so 4G was overrun and useless as well. It was fixed before lunch so a tiny problem compared to Ingham. But even that...the only way to find why there was NO bloody internet was to get ON THE INTERNET and use the outage finder.

I was not at the shops for groceries, anyone with a brain knows there is nothing left the second the BOM issues an alert. It really shows what a basket case our country is that one flood, (or cyclone, fire etc) and half the population would starve in 3 days, run out of power and not be able to wipe their own ....

It doesnt matter how much cash you have or what grade of metal your plastic is you cant buy what is not there on the shelf. Home delivery and pick and collect are out too. This time there is no road left to get stuff back on the shelf but...gonna be interesting next week.

Unfortunately their vehicle is positioned in a way that makes that impossible, I can't get the stakes under the car (and wouldnt want to be liable for damage).
I'm sure the stakes would get through the windows just fine, though :)
Maybe a polite note in the letterbox or attached to their windscreen advising of a request not to park on your verge in future, and also advising of your intent to rope off the area in the hope of regenerating the lawn damaged by their vehicle once they have kindly moved it. Also you could cheerfully advise that at this stage in the interests of being neighbourly you will not be contacting the council to report their misdemeanour 😠
Very passive aggressive, that's the last thing I'd suggest.

I had cuy (guinea pig) in Peru. Didn't like it. Odd combo, beef and guinea pigs!

Had flying fox in Espiritu Santo in 1982. Very strong flavour. We were deco diving on the wreck President Coolidge.
