What cheeses me off

Personally I find almost all vapers and devices to be discreet, emitting little visible cloud. It’s odourless and far more preferable to any emissions from smoking actual cicigarettes.
As someone who has to go into the city occasionally I am sick of having to walk through clouds of stinking vape clouds emitted by selfish people who just don't care about anybody else.

Modern aircraft configurations... that still force use of a headphone adapter. Q Suites, but won't work with a single 3.5mm jack. When I flew coughpy old BA Club World (yes, ying yang, not club suites) even that allowed me to use my headphones without the adaptor. I haven't needed it in so long I don't pack it anymore. Gonna be a long flight to PER now ... the onboard headphones suck. 4 pairs till I had one that worked and the NC is cough.
I’ve needed them on all flights I’ve taken lately. Single/standard jacks on the airlines I fly are pretty rare, including ANA, GA and SQ

It's probably because I usually watch stuff on my laptop/phone, so ignorance has been bliss. The past few months though have been lazy and just plugging in to the IFE for once on AA/BA etc. Oh well, I'll have to try and fit one back into my case.

Yes, especially if you go HLO, there is simply no room in your carry-on for a Bose headphone case or similar. I just go AirPods/laptop and the aircraft headphones if needs be.

Perhaps you’re focussed on the vapers with devices that emit huge clouds?

Odourless vapes with no toxic chemicals?

They still smoke everywhere in Thailand including dope. That's the worst. I'm sitting on Soi Buakhow, Pattaya people watching while the people in the bar behind me smoking dope. Awful.

We go to golf and we're sitting in minibus outside bar waiting to take off and you got people puffing away with minibus door open. FFS have some respect for my right to smoke free air. Argued with an Aussie one morning and when we got to golf course he apologised.

Then we come back to bar and I'd love to have 3-4 beers after golf but everyone is smoking everywhere so I sit in bar near the street trying to avoid disgusting smells. Note they do serve food and people do eat even though smoke everywhere.

Not likely to change any time soon but wish they'd do a turn around on legalising marijuan_.

Agree. Thailand is bad. I don’t like the smell of dope.

But australia is different. The vapers of old are illegal now, and you can only get vapes on prescription. Those aren’t generally the ones with the huge plumes of smoke. And they can’t be flavoured.

Sadly less than 10% vapers use pharmac_ vapes
Most get it from the black market
Plenty of medical journals and studies since the legislation

Do these vapes release chemicals? It's still tobacco?

I was sitting at BNE DFO yesterday waiting for T-Bus when an elderly lady walked out of DFO and came and sat next to me and started smoking. Staff/shopper no idea but tgats not the poibt. FFS. I got up and walked away. I shouldn't have to get up and walk away. Smokers/vapers should be considerate and not inconvenience anyone. Awful.

WCMO? I can't smell dope! We were in Amsterdam walking around the obvious districts and I commented to MrP that I couldn't see any dope smokers. He looked at me in disbelief! He said there was pot everywhere and we reeked of it. 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely chock-a-block full of chemicals.

Contrary to the tourist stories, dope is actually not legal in NL. It is tolerated.

MrsP lightly bumped a colleagues car (RHS rear) parking in heavy rain on Friday. She cannot tell me exactly what happened and colleague has sent photos of front and back corners of the car which show various other damage. I accept if there is damage it needs to be repaired but the photos do not describe where the car was bumped. They have sent a text asking for licence and car details, but when we call them back to ask that I can view the car they are making excuses why I cannot view it instead of saying something like we are not avialable today but come down tomorrow. I don't trust their lack of openness and will not do anything until I am permitted to view the car. I am cheesed off. Thoughts?

Didn’t MrsP look at the damage?

It was raining cats and dogs at the time so seeing it was minor (nothing's minor in car repair) she went inside and told colleague. The thing is that I want to see what the damage is so I can make a decision to bear the cost myself or run it through insurance. Why prevent me from having a look?

No tobacco. But contains nicotine.

It’s difficult but ask for a detailed repair quote before proceeding.
