You've only been there once then?Plus there was a queue for the loos.
Or from the OW program.Basically, TK lounge Istanbul, everywhere.
Or Air NZ lounges; they seem to do everything right, even the little regional ones!
The QR lounge in CDG is an oasis in an otherwise prize coughhole… Get there early for the morning flight and you’re quite likely to have the place to yourself! (except for the 1/2 doz staff).Or from the OW program.
Basically, JL lounge Haneda or Narita, everywhere.
Or CX lounges; they seem to do everything right, even the littleregionalinternational ones!
I would have put QR into the above however I have only been to the DOH lounges.
Are there any where the phone booth is the secret entry to the lounge within the lounge? aka “Get Smart” (…youngsters, Google it! )Agree with most of the above. No one has mentioned lounges within lounges nor phone booths so I’ll add those two.
I am pretty sure your photos are from a said lounge I mentioned above but maybe wrong.Agree with most of the above. No one has mentioned lounges within lounges nor phone booths so I’ll add those two.
Agree with all of the above! Comfy seating, showers, decent food and barista coffee. Power points at seat and efficient internet. And no mobile phones on speaker!I've spent quite a lot of time in airport lounges recently, and I'm finding that there are a few things that I really appreciate the most:
Runway views and champagne are nice too, but I don't find them essential.
- Substantial, healthy food options
- Barista coffee
- Somewhere to work (e.g. a desk with a power outlet available)
- Good internet
- Showers
What about you? What are the main things you would like to see more of in airport lounges?
AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
This. How about not having to argue your entitlement to enter the lounge?
This.
Just have an eligibility matrix or a touch screen outside the lounge which allows you to lookup/select the variables that relate to you and get a big green tick or red cross based on the actual rules.
If the lounge is full, display an approx. wait time. The lounge agents can still have final say on dress regulations, but the combinations of class of cabin, carrier, airline status, flight code, fare bucket etc. should not be up for debate.
Some lounges already have that function. The problem is if Computer Says No, you don't know why.+1
Or just let me scan me myself in with my card / app !
