That pizza looks so good, I could eat the photo. I had supermarket muesli...lockdown in Melbourne is not fun. I think we're turning into a city of whingers!! Waaaaah!!!!!

Did my first reverse sear tomahawk yesterday. The meat was great but did not enjoy looking at the fat (which I was told not to trim). I think I will stick to leaner cuts or trim as I prefer. Cooked at 110c until it hit 50c internally, rested then seared for 90secs each side. Corn cooked this way is my new fav, its always yummy.

@Denali also try grilling corn with the husk on. It keeps it super moist but also gets the grilled flavour.

Yesterday was slow cooked beef short ribs with a very peppery crust - way too much pepper for my tastes but it was super tender and yummy.

Chicken braised with mushroom and thyme

This Italian-style braise is great with polenta chips, and is also delicious with a short pasta such as penne or macaroni.

Crispy skin salmon (used my SA garlic lemon salt) and chargrilled capsicum today with a tomato salad (or as I call it, tomato tacos). Herbs from our new herb garden

Hubby loved it but I now need dill in my garden to make a sauce. Thinking of garlic prawns for some surf & turf next time

Took the tomahawke steak from the freezer, trimmed it and tried a new rub for hubbys steak dinner tonight.

Not a fan of the Ancho Espresso rub but used SA Beerenberg Peppercorn sauce to temper the coffee note. Served with some bbq corn and a salad and Hubby was happy.

Why buy ”tomahawk” ? It’s just a beef rib or cotè du beouf with extra bone which costs a lot extra for the bone?
