What I ate today - the food thread

Such a pity not available in Australia!

Reversed seared medium (was aiming for medium rare but missed it by a few degrees) Porterhouse on the Weber - still need to figure out the timing as I thought it would take longer to cook/cook the veggies at the same time but I had to move the veggies to the grill.

Then we sat on our deck for a couple of hours, enjoying the breeze and birds. I have porchetta planned for tomorrow but need to move to salmon or something because the meatfest is a bit full on :)

There's a cheese shop in the Adelaide Central Market called the Smelly Cheese shop and they had an after dark Cheese and wine tasting with wines from Langmeil. The cheese was excellent and I was very full after it. The Langmeil wines didn't really do it for me except the Shiraz

Simple chicken in the weber yesterday.... but it started to storm mid cook so had to wheel it into the garage 😂

2nd time Ive spatchcocked (is that a word?) a chook before and I prefer it, so much easier to carve and lots of left overs because I dont hack at it like a crime scene. The corn & veggies were delish.
