8 hour slow cooked ribs. Red wine, soy sauce, garlic and BBQ sauce.

12 ribs (2 racks of 6) was too big for our slow cooker and I rotated them every 2 hours to get even time sitting in the fluid.

The meat wasn’t melting off the bone, but still tender and juicy.

Finally gave in and tried the new Indian place at CBR central. The prices have gone up significantly since they underwent renovation … a “thali” used to be $14.xx is now $18.xx and the quantity has gone down as well.

A surprise last night at the West’s Leagues club Tamworth. Mrsdrron had the garlic prawns and said they were good. I had the smoked brisket and it was excellent.

Were the garlic prawns served with white rice? the prawns look like they have some sauce on them, bordering on sufficiently sauced that it's not dry however, wondering if the rice was right for the prawns?

I am not sure if rice is right for prawns but in pubs and clubs garlic prawns usually come with rice.
