What I ate today - the food thread

I was going to make corn fritters this weekend, was waiting for some spring onions but you just reminded me to get some more corn
 
I was inspired by the corn fritters but added peas, broccoli and spring onions with a side of sweet chili sauce but now thinking I should have tried tomato relish as well. I doubled the recipe as I sent some to in-laws house.

That looks soooo good and I love the VA salt & pepper shakers! Never was brave enough to ask for them

They were a gift from a friend. I have an eclectic collection of S & P shakers. Did you see the Llamas 🦙 in post #1819 ?

I just went back and checked - they look really funky. Good thing to collect
 
my spouse is responsible for weekends - this is passata, cream, onion, chicken, garlic, salt and pepper and of course pasta with fresh basil from our garden

o_O:confused: Even when I had a SWMBO, I still did plenty of cooking.

@GPH does 80% of the cooking in our house, mostly gourmet meals. Even breakfast in bed on the weekends.
