What is the statute of limitations on “never again”?

Iberia - back in about 1995, was booked with a colleague to fly Barcelona-London. We booked non-smoking seats, only to be told at check-in that we were in smoking seats. Both being asthmatic, we requested our booked non-smoking seats and were told to speak to the crew at the boarding gate who can sort it out for us (Fobbed-off #1). Get to gate and told to speak with cabin crew who will be able to help us (Fobbed-off #2). Cabin crew say they'll have to speak with the captain (Fobbed-off #3). Head flight attendant comes back from speaking with captain to tell us that the captain says "if you don't like smoke, you shouldn't be flying"!
Spent the entire flight with a napkin tied around my face so that I could breathe and receiving the sneering looks of the flight attendants who refused to offer us any food or drinks for the entire flight. Have never flown Iberia again and will never, ever fly with them again.
