Just like with cash, the longer you sit on them the more value they use (inflation); they've already sat through one slight devaluation in rates.Why are you wanting to churn through them?
In any event, repeated weekends away on mid haul EU/ME would appear as best BFYB and fit around work/social/other activity.
Shame LCY-JFK has ended - would have been a good way to burn some of them.
Unfortunately taxes + fees (TFC) on flights to/from the US is astronomical, you're often better off using cash; even booking last minute.
