What would you do with 1.2m Avios?

Why are you wanting to churn through them?

In any event, repeated weekends away on mid haul EU/ME would appear as best BFYB and fit around work/social/other activity.

Shame LCY-JFK has ended - would have been a good way to burn some of them.
Just like with cash, the longer you sit on them the more value they use (inflation); they've already sat through one slight devaluation in rates.

Unfortunately taxes + fees (TFC) on flights to/from the US is astronomical, you're often better off using cash; even booking last minute.

And......... BA are also making a return to Belgrade (BEG), so 2x J return for 27k p/p (off-peak dates) booked as well.

Can you be my long lost cousin and buy 4 AU-EU return tix for me? ;)

Interested to know how you're going to end up burning them - quantity, value or quality are the three tradeoffs i guess.

eg.
One major RTW type trip
vs
Multiple short haul (volume)
vs
"Value" redemption (points per dollar redemption).

Mostly a combination of 2 and 3. 1 only really works if you're more interested in majorish cities due to the OW network coverage...
