Where are you going in 2018?

Laos in February, Dunedin in April, Sardinia in June, Spain in October and others as they present themselves.....
 
I am still waiting for some cheap tickets to Tassie but have also settled for Japan, Hong Kong and koh Samui (I think.....or maybe the Philippines) in late May/early June. Not the best time of year but it's all I've got at this point.

Launceston for $200 return was pretty cheap.
 
There were a few if you were willing to go Saturday morning and back Sunday evening

I am but it is a bit tough on the toddler! I will keep hunting then as it sounds like there may be some opportunities out there.
