Qatar in Singapore was excellent a couple of weeks ago. Very attentive staff. Tattinger Rose. Good food!

I've only ever been impressed by my first visit to any lounge. But that is long passed now. I once thought that the SYD Int J lounge was good until I went into the F lounge or even the Emirate Syd INT lounge. What can you say about the DXB F lounge!

For me it was the RJ lounge in Amman. So many different elements, stand up arcade machines, pizza and pasta section, ice cream maker, chocolate and sweets counter, large buffet and of course a bar.

The only downside and it was not a major issue is the lounge is open to the departure lounge below so has some noise.
+1 and the terminal as a whole is pretty good.

The Prime Lounge in the Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) domestic terminal was a very pleasant surprise.

We paid around $65AUD each for access to find a very smart looking oasis from the rest of the very busy terminal with excellent coughtails, a la carte dining alongside a great looking buffet, blazing fast WiFi and access to very nice bathrooms.

We were the only ones in the lounge so it seems to be a bit of a hidden gem, not surprising given it only opened in September, about a month before we travelled.

An amusing element was the advertised ‘satellite TV’ which was in actual fact, YouTube clips of old news broadcasts and Victoria’s Secret fashion shows with the attendant YouTube advertisements.

China Airlines Taipei busness lounge going to Europe was great, was some reno's going on but open enough, good shower and excellent food, return leg was different terminal so different lounge- not as much fun...

I really like the Saphire Plaza Premium lounge at Jakarta T3 International departures. It is well appointed, has a kids play room, nice bathrooms, a couple of barista coffee stations, and reasonable food made toot order from a set menu. They also have lockers where you can store your hand luggage and for those who want it a very nice smoking area. Also all different area with different seating types to suit different requirements. Great service from the staff.

The Delta Sky Club in the F terminal at Atlanta was fantastic for a US lounge. Great F & B options, lots of seating and pleasant staff. I believe this terminal is mainly used for international flights, although ours was to Las Vegas.
Also agree with posts about AKL Strata lounge.

I believe that’s the lounge I used a few months ago flying CX CGK-HGK-LHR? After a lot of horrible reports of lounges at CGK, I was wondering if I was in the right place 😁.

Isn't the AKL Strata lounge the old Air New Zealand lounge?

Definitely not during the mid evening rush though!

For me it was the Extime lounge in CDG T1. The lounge has 2 sections but Emirates has taken 1 of them for its dedicated lounge and it was stunning (as well as brand new). Lovely champagne, the best macarons my partner had ever had and a very decent breakfast buffet selection.

Obviously has changed since we were there last year. Great to hear!
