You replied directly to somebody saying 'this sounds like an AFFer' with 'it wouldnt be me'. The poster was referring to somebody complaining about having their seat tapped on. IT is not me who misunderstood.
John is saying it wouldn't be him tapping on the back of the seat because being iun a bulkhead seat means no seat back to tap.

Cant believe the comments.Remember this was from a financial newsletter as an aside. He said he was having a whinge.
Cant see why he would make up the story. So whatever the reason I believe whoever was behind him was tapping at the screen.

You assumed it was me doing the complaining.

The international IFE system still allows the use of the hand controller.
The controller that is fixed in the armrest? Has the IFE been updated on the A380 again? Last time I was on an A380 I there was no hand controller.

The controller was not fixed on the A380 I had up to HKG in June. The only fixed controllers I've seen are on domestic 737s.

So has the IFE been updated in the past year? There are a number of posts on AFF from me mentioning the IFE on A380 is not the same as previous IFE and one could no longer play interactive games such as Tetris.

Not that I'm aware of, clearly remember both children pulling out the hand controller flying MEL/SIN 2 years ago. Pretty sure I could retract the hand controller in early 2012 SYD-LHR on a Qantas A380. All this in Y.

Apologies. It was the refurbished 747s with the fixed IFE controller.

What. Wait. Those TV screens turn on?

My favourite whingers are one of my friends who coughes about everything in regards to his budget airline journey because he expects SIA service. Ive called him out about it but he keeps flying with them and complains about having to pay for his beer.
