Who murdered the sausages in BNE Dom J Lounge?

Haven't seen them for ages, was hoping they'd been binned anyway, you know what goes into sausages right....? ;)

Much the same stuff that goes into party pies I would assume. Now you know why they have the sausages, they had the ingredients left over and had to use them somehow.

Tae, I was pretty much as excited as you! Why has nobody spread the pancake machine love on here before?!? The best part was that the pancakes tasted surprisingly good as well. I was expecting floury but these were actually worth eating.
Looking forward to my next breakfast lounge visits. I wonder if AKL has one for Tuesday morning... :D

This is the pancake machine that I have used on several occasions -

A bladder of pancake mix goes into the trap door on the top and that's it (done by the staff of course). Takes about 2 mins for two pancakes once your press the button.
That's the one.
It's great that you can "order" quite a number of pancakes, which made sense because there was a constant queue for them at PER. Why just order 1 when it would be faster for it to do a batch of 9 and the queue would move faster?

On the general topic of J lounge breakfasts, I haven't had an issue with the sausages (when they've been there) but I'm really not so keen on the mush they call scrambled eggs. I've never had eggs so bland and tasteless with such awful consistency, which is a real achievement given how simple a dish they are. Don't know how NP can stick his name to it.

Perhaps it's a move to force people onto the healthier option of the muesli and yoghurt, which has always been decent (but not dissimilar to the QP of course).
