The first was the best of the lot IMO.
How is the Majestic? How much is she set up for the Asian market? I know a number of Americans on the last RCI I was on were complaining that the ship had been modified to meet market needs. They were not happy.

Yeah, well, the Americans complain about the pizzas in Italy because they arent like dead paperweights with a 1000 calories worth of cheese, bacon, metwurst, pineapple.....

I remember a couple of years ago (+?), we the Aussies complained and modifications were interalia made to getting some shade over the outdoor areas (we don't like skin cancer), and more fish on the menus. Those are the 2 things I remember.

The two main complaints seemed to be that there were too many Asians on the ship (really? We were sailing from Singapore over Chinese New Year) and the food was 'rubbish' (really? I loved the new dishes replacing some of the old bland western muck).

We just returned from the second of two cruises out of Tianjin on Ovation. Had a great time but would expect a few complaints from people who expect to locals to behave like Poms on Cunard. Elevators and buffet were challenging but I am battle hardened and just laughed it off.

I too enjoyed the different foods from the norm.

Have just booked our next cruise once again on the Pacific Aria leaving Singapore next year.
Most people probably don't like the budget offerings from P&O but we love them with the drinks packages.

Now to keep an eye out on reward flights and book our hotels.

Rotten for you.
So Breakaway did not forward your payments to P&O or P&O received payment and did not link it to the cruise booked (hence automatically cancelled)? Do you know exactly where the breakdown occurred? Was this full payment or deposit only?
You should have received a booking reference for the cruise that you could have used to log in and check things. Did you have this?
Cruises are a bit like flights - it pays to check your booking regularly to make sure nothing odd has happened.
